Devín Castle in the 13th to 20th Centuries
The permanent exhibition is located in the interiors of the upper castle.
In 2017, the permanent exposition Devín Castle in the 13th to 20th Centuries has been installed in the attractive area of the castle rock caverns under the upper rock. By means of more than 300 archaeological findings from the Devín Castle, it presents construction development of the castle, its owners, and the most important events that occurred in Devín. The archaeological exposition includes geological history of the castle rock and a unique presentation of sea remains from the Tertiary, which have been preserved here in the form of sea sand with the respective fauna as well as observable effects of the sea level activity.
